Coir Pots

Coir pots are produced from 100 % biodegradable rubberized coir and moulded into different shapes & sizes to match customer needs. Our eco-friendly pots are suitable for nurseries as well as domestic gardening. Allowing for proper aeration, these support better plant growth compared to plastic pots. The biodegradable pots allow the plants to transplant into bigger containers or directly into the ground with the pots. This ensures root safety and minimizes root shock and reduces labour cost and recycling costs.

Benefits

♦ Plants have a nearly 100% survival rate when replanted since there is no soil shock.

♦ Since there is no root binding, the roots of the plant grow through the walls of these pots and are air pruned resulting in the growth of more roots and a fibrous root system which gives greater overall yields.

♦ Coconut fibre naturally contains tannic acid which inhibits the development of fungus & mold.

♦ The coconut fiber or coir pots can be planted along the plants leaving no west to dispose of.

♦ Unlike plastic pots, transplantation and transportation are easier since the plant does not have to be removed from the pot.
